aBalados realises the basic engineering concerning the design of a solar thermal power tower plant of 100 MW through one of its partners, Mr. Juan Enrile (Industrial engineer, ICAI). This project has as client the South African state-owned power company Eskom and is carried out by a consortium of international and multidisciplinary companies. Being executed in a desert in South Africa the project aims to become the world’s largest installation of this type of technology.
Mr. Juan Enrile namely is taking part in this enterprise as engineering director counting on a considerable team of highly qualified engineers. Furthermore, aBalados aspires to close in a short term site management contracts for nearly 200 MW in this African country.
